Presence of Cordons de Vie in the 7th Monaco Age Oncologie, 14th March, 2019

Cordons de Vie  has held a booth during this French-speaking meeting on onco-geriatrics to share its actions with the clinicians and the doctors present at the event.

This extension of status affects from now on the Monaco public and private healthcare facilities.

Cordons de Vie was present at the congress Stem Cell Transplantation in Childhood – Biotechnological advances, ethical issues and worldwide equal access from September 26th – 28th, 2019, Roma Eventi Fontana di Trevi, Piazza della Pilotta, Rome.

A minibus for patients affected by sickle-cell anaemia

The AMULD (patients affected by sickle-cell anaemia Malian association) has got the idea to implement a mean of transport exclusively dedicated to patients suffering from sickle-cell anaemia to enable them to reach the Research Center (CRLD) by minibus for a price below the current cost. The beneficiary financial contribution should allow to perpetuate the use of these mean of transport for sick people. Compatible with the Monegasque International Cooperation Directorate, Cordons de Vie funds this project for 2 years.

2-year budget: 25,000 Euro

Children and teenagers suffering from sickle-cell anaemia surgeries

Thanks to the impetus of the AMULD (patients affected by sickle-cell anaemia Malian association), the Research and struggle Center against the sickle-cell anaemia (CRLD) and referring doctors present on-site, surgeries have been performed on 20 children and teenagers from vulnerable families in Bamako, further to sickle-cell anaemia complications. Spleen, gallbladder or tonsil ablation, the surgeries will diminish their pain and improve their quality of life .

Budget: 8,000 Euro

THE ASSOCIATION “CORDON DE VIE” HAS BEEN CREATED TO TURN THE HOPES INTO REALITY.
