Scientific Committee


The Scientific Committee’s mission is:

  • Centralize and exchange the scientific information about adult stem cells;
  • Clarify the guidelines of Cordons de Vie about the scientific aspects of the projects submitted in order to obtain a funding;
  • Allow an active and pertinent communication in respect of the objectives of the Association.

Eliane GLUCKMAN

President

Professor in Haematology at Paris Diderot University. Previously head of the Haematology Department at Saint Louis Hospital. World pioneer in cord blood stem cells transplant in 1988.

Christophe ROBINO

Coordinator

Chief of Nephrology and Haemodialysis Department of the Princesse Grace Hospital in Monaco. Previously Resident and Coordinator of Paris Hospitals. Member of the Consultative Diocesan Committee in Bioethics of Monaco. Deputy at the Conseil National (Monegasque Parliament)

Hélène CARSENTI

Doctor in Pharmacy. Previously resident at the Paris Hospitals. Responsible of the Anti-Biology and Researchers lab at the infectious disease ward in Nice. Expert at the European Commission.

Didi JASMIN

Executive Director of the European School of Hematology within the Institute of Research on Leukemias and blood diseases – HAYEM Centre, Saint Louis Hospital.

Bernard FLIPO

Chief of the gynaecological, breast and general oncology surgery ward; Responsible of the Surgery Unit and of the Breast Clinic at the Antoine Lacassagne Centre in Nice. Tribunals Expert.

Hubert PERRIN

Surgeon, previously resident and coordinator at the Paris Hospitals. DEA oncology surgery. Vice-Coordinator at the Monaco Hospital, Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace. Surgery and Visceral and Digestive Surgery wards.

Barbara CAPPELLI LAURO

Pediatrician Hematologist Former intern of the Department of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and G Gaslini Hospital in Genoa (Italy). Doctor in Clinical Research at the Scientific Center of Monaco.

The Princess Grace Hospital of Monaco.
Former Internal, Former Head of Hospital Clinic of Paris. Former Head of Department of Maternity Hospital Saint Antoine and Trousseau Hospital, Public Assistance – Paris Hospitals. Former Coordinator of the National Reference Center in Perinatal Hemobiology

Pierre Simon ROHRLICH

Head of the pediatric hemato-oncology department at L’Archet hospital in Nice and professor of pediatrics at the University of Nice Côte d’Azur. Researcher at the Mediterranean Research Center for Molecular Medicine (INSERM U1065).

Danielle LENA

Doctor in Pharmacy. Previously resident at the Marseille Hospitals. She has been Director of the CERGM, Centre d’Enseignement et de Recherche en Génétique Médicale (Teaching and Reasearching Centre in Medical genetics), Medical School, Marseille. (Laboratory specialized in studies on genetical and blood diseases. National Neonatal Screening of sickle cells disease in France)

Gynecologist. Previously resident and coordinator at Paris Hospitals. Contract Doctor at the Monaco Hospital – Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace.
